The Education Office at the Greek Embassy in London is a department of the Ministry of Education in Greece. It coordinates, administrates and supervises the Greek Language Education in Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. The Head of the Education Office serves as the proprietor for the Greek Secondary School of London.
The Office also organises and coordinates the annual examination for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek in Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark and Lithuania. The examinations take place in cooperation with The Centre for the Greek Language, which was established in 1994 in Thessaloniki, Greece, as a non-profit organisation, also supervised by the Greek Ministry of Education.
